Here we have one beautiful example of Turnberry Wedding Photography I have photographed, today featuring Michelle and Mark set against the backdrop of the iconic Turnberry Resort and Hotel.
Being a typical wedding I photograph at Turnberry, this was a small and intimate wedding with only the most immediate of family attending, meaning there was a great deal of extra time to really focus on the bride and groom and the atmosphere of the day. Something that makes these events extra special.
To start, upon walking to the reception door I was greeted by the cheerful and extremely helpful front of house staff who literally took me straight to the suit (if you detect a hint of surprise, never had that happen before), I then started off photographing the bridal preparations in the hotel suit in the Turnberry Hotel. When I entered the room it was a relaxed and happy environment with the bride and her family there, aside from the usual panic thinking they had forgotten something everything was calm, this is a great situation as the mood reflects beautifully in the wedding images.
The wedding itself was held on the veranda at the front of the hotel overlooking to the Ailsa Craig and even on a hazy day its a nice backdrop for a wedding, and then we moved on to the lighthouse for the classic shots.
Finishing up we made back to the hotel for some group shots and then finally some couple photography shots in the hotel suit.
If you are getting married at Turnberry, or planning to, make us your first port of call for photography. Having photographed numerous weddings here, both outdoor like this one and in the Browns Room you can count on our experience to produce memorable images from your day, big or small.
All that is left is to thank you for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you.
